HOUSE MANAGER
Position Summary:
The House Manager ensures optimal utilization of resources (including, but limited to staff, equipment, & supplies) to meet consumer care needs. To provide direction and supervision with operational issues to all staff and promote client satisfaction as a leader by demonstration of extraordinary service.
Essential Functions:

Participate in the care planning process

Monitor residents within state licensure regulations

Obtain and administer medications and treatments
-
Provide accurate, detailed and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing process.

Conduct ongoing assessments

Follow physician’s directions, including assisting the client with the administration of medication and other treatment

Schedule and provide transportation to annual medical, dental appointment, community outings once a year or more frequently if prescribed on the individual program plan

Maintain a record of medical and dental visits, current weight, medication (dosage, frequency and times of administration, reasons for medications, (side effects), illnesses, injuries, special incidents, funds and personal possessions.

Implement approved emergency procedures in the event of a fire, earthquake, or other natural disaster.

Participate and provide training in the development of the individual program plan.

Enforce house rules and purchase food and supplies as instructed by the Administrator and prepare meals according to posted menus.

Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment

Communicate on a regular basis with Regional Center, Day Programs, and other services providers and agencies as needed.

Report special incidents and suspected resident abuse according to applicable laws and regulations.

Maintain calendar of appointments, facility activities, meetings with Regional Center, etc..

Attend staff meetings and participate in continuing education.

Be responsible for the management of all direct support professionals and report directly to the Administrator.

Perform other related duties and assignments as required by management.
Status and Scope:
-
Must completed 70 hour competency-based-training (DSP I & DSP II) course and test in accordance with Title 17 Requirements (Required for Specialized Residential Homes)

Must be willing to work AM, PM and Noc shifts
-
Must be CPR/FA and CPI certified
Qualifications:
-
All offers are contingent upon passing a background check, physical and a TB test or chest xray.

Must be at least 21 years old
-
Must have a current driver’s license
-
Must be associated to the facilitIes they will be working
-
Minimum 2 year full-time experience providing direct supervision and services to persons with developmental disabilities
Salary: East Region $10 - $13 Hourly based on experience
Work Schedule: AM, PM, and Night shifts
