PROGRAM MANAGER
for Autism Services, Peoplescare
Position Summary:
The Program Manager for Autism Services, Peoplescare reports to the Clinical Director. The program manager oversees supervisors, lead therapists and behavior therapists. They are responsible for the daily running of the Autism Services program including meeting requirements of funding sources, meeting client’s clinical needs and goals and satisfying the needs of clients, funding sources and employees.
Essential Functions:

To be responsible for and ensure the safety and well-being of consumers.

To serve as an initial point of contact for referrals and intakes.

To serve as a liaison for funding sources during intake process

To attend regional center vendor meetings, school district meetings and community meetings.

To conduct and/or review Functional Behavior Assessments.

To provide monthly clinical consultation with each lead therapist.

To provide ongoing consultation with lead therapists as needed.

To meet with the Clinical Director on a monthly basis to review client progress.

To provide field supervision of each therapist assigned to work with consumer on a monthly basis.

To train the Lead Therapists.

To train Behavior Therapists on behavioral techniques based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT).

To oversee the members of the clinical team.

To participate in clinical meetings to review consumer’s progress as needed.

To develop data collection systems needed to document consumer’s progress.

To attend, actively participate in, and conduct on-going trainings, in-services sessions, and other meetings as scheduled.

To review lead therapist and behavior therapist assignments and evaluate performance.

To develop and implement a client referral program to increase program enrollment.

To keep program costs within the specified budget.
Status and Scope:

Direct and evaluate the program within the limits of the fuctions and policies established by People's Care

Assess the program operations, report to the Director, and makes recommendations to address identified problems
-
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in psychology or related field from an accredited institution (or within 6 months of completing degree requirements)

Certified by the national Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (or qualify to sit for the exam within 6 months).

Minimum of three years experience in the design and implementation of behavioral intervention services
-
At least three years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities.

Experience working in collaboration with Regional Centers, School Districts and other agencies.
