QUALITY ASSURANCE / RESOURCE COORDINATOR
Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating the resources necessary to implement the services needed for the client. This can include training of staff, gathering resources, partnerships with outside agencies, implementing the referral and assessment process including arranging RN, Behavior Consultants and other specialist required for the review. QA will also be responsible for doing quality assurance audits on SLS/ILS staff during program hours to insure services are being delivered as per the program design, Peoples Care policy and procedures as well as the Regional Center and regulatory agencies. This position requires one year of experience in an ILS/SLS Program with training provided by the Program Director, Program Manager and Consultants and may include outside agencies.
Essential Functions:

Assists the client with the services and supports needed for the client in the community to build relationships of value necessary for social growth and successful living.

Reviews and assists in referral process for the team.

Communicate with client, family, and other agencies regarding referral process, services and supports as needed.

Maintain relationships and a good rapport with SLS/ILS clients, families and employees as expected to maintain quality service delivery.

Assist in connecting client to all resources necessary for inclusion.

Oversee and audit the appearance and upkeep of SLS/ILS homes.

Perform Quality Assurance checks on all employees in the perspective departments and assure all expectations are being met in accordance with the job description and policies and procedures of the department/company.

Audit staff to insure IPP goals and objectives are being implemented and staff is providing training to assist the client to meet the goals.

Ensures all assessments and reports are followed up by team support to provide the necessary resources to the clients, as well as assure quality services are provided.

Ensure the quality of service is reflective to the client’s objectives being met.

Ensure and track that safe work practices are being adhered to during each employee’s workday.

Audit staff for compliance per Peoples Care policy and procedure as well as all relevant regulatory agencies.

Establish clear communication between coordinator (Supervisor) and staff in regards to client need after initial placement and thereafter.

Attend monthly staff meetings, special meetings as needed and participates in committees.

Conducts and attends in-service trainings and workshops to advance professional competency.

Develop QA schedule for SLS/ILS programs.

Create reports to show competencies as well as deficiencies and report to program director.

Assist with corrective action plans.

Perform other related duties and assignments as required by management.

Able to outreach to the public and develop a listing for generic supports list of doctor’s, hospitals, social recreation opportunities and affordable housing.

Develop resource manual for each city that client’s reside in; participate in intake process in order to see what type of services a person would need and then make recommendations for initial supports that would need to be developed; work with the attendants to constantly develop and make available resources for the clients in the program.
Status and Scope:

Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.

Oversee activities directly related to providing services.

Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties
Qualifications:
-
All offers are contingent upon passing a background check, physical and a TB test or chest x-ray.

Minimum of 12 months prior experience working in social services field; be able to self initiate tasks and develop their objectives

Must have available, reliable transportation for office and field assignments. Must be willing to participate in Support Staff (direct care) assignments as directed.

Possess a valid certificate of completion of first aid, CPR training.

Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.

Knowledge of Human Resources processes.

All offers are contingent upon passing a background check, physical and a TB test or chest xray.
Salary: $13 - $15 Hourly based on experience
Work Schedule: Monday -Friday
